GIRLS LOVE SHOES’ Tasty New Single Just Dropped for Halloween

So Admit You Want to Take a Colossal BITE!

You’re in for a treat with “Bite," one of six deliciously rebellious songs on

Girls Love Shoes' third EP “Subatomic Genius,” which just dropped!!!

The spooky new single is naughty and seductive, written from the

perspective of a female vampire who innocently downplays her voracious appetite, playfully insisting that her victims just be “nice” and let her take a bite. The humorous aloofness and catchy, new eighties synths are already captivating, but it’s the song’s hypnotic vocal hooks that make you sing

along with gothic glee.

“Bite” marks new sonic territory for Girls Love Shoes, debuting a

collaboration with Grammy-nominated music producer Davy Nathan.

A talented producer/co-writer to artists like Bruno Mars, Mary J Blige, and Queen Latifah, Nathan is also known for his work on TV shows Empire and Star. The collaboration with lead singer/songwriter Nadia Fay is a dynamic one. Nathan enhances Fay’s lyrical mischief with a sexy-cool dance mix reminiscent of Depeche Mode meets Stranger Things meets Thriller.

The result is a dark and sexy soundtrack underlying a hauntingly wicked moonlit story.

Fay reveals the inspiration behind the lyrics...“I wanted to challenge

myself to write a song about a vampire and not mention the words

“vampire” or “blood”. I’m thrilled with how it turned out. It conjures the supernatural vibes I was going for without spelling them out. We definitely achieved the mystery and weirdness I wanted for the song. I hope horror

fans everywhere can feel me winking at them."
